I don't watch MLP but I think I get where one is more liked and the other is despised.

Yes, 'My Little Pony' is a cartoon series intended for little girls but I have seen clips and the animation does look rather well, the writing is good (From what I have taken from Bronies) and the villains look interesting.

I think the main problem with Twilight is the main cast being dull as drift-wood and the miss-interpretation of Vampires and Were-wolves (Sparkle, sparkle)

The main problem I have with twilight is there are to many scenes that go absolutely nowhere.

The writing is mediocre at best and breaks no trope boundaries. It's an overrated show, but one I can tolerate. I'd rather be watching Adventure Time.

I haven't watched either but the internet seems to have ruled that MLP is a high quality children's program while Twilight is as intellectually vapid as a dead lobster.

As ridiculous as it may seem, I think that it is telling of how homoerotic twilight is. Compared to Twilight, MLP is manly.
