I think that Alicorns have 4 different sides to them. The all powerful Good, The Princess, The "all powerful" Evil, and The Filly. We have seen Luna as The Filly when she was turned away from Nightmare Moon, or her Evil. We have also seen her as The Princess during "Nightmare Night". Dream would make a great Good side for her. We have only ever seen Celestia as The Princess. Now to explain the differant levels of them. The Evil is when an Alicorn has allowed hate to fill her heart and consume her every thought. This happened to Luna when she felt rejected by everypony. She was slightly justified in it to when you consider she is half of the reason they were allowed the freedom they held after she defeated Discord alongside Celestia. After she was defeated she became The Filly tho. The Filly is the persona taken by an Alicorn when she is at her weakest point, when she is nothing more than a scared child unable to do anything in her own mind her magic turns her into the personification of that. Luna was forced to be The Filly until she overcame her fright and weakness with in so that she could take up the next mantle of her being. After this Luna was allowed to become who she used to be, The Princess. The Princess is just that, a princess. She protects her subjects and land to her greatest ability and helps them were she can. The Good is a mystery, nopony knows how it can be granted. Perhaps by over coming The Evil within ones self can one become The Good. Despite the power of the Elements of Harmony in order to dispel the hate in anyponie's heart that pony must be willing to release it. Luna only ever wished to be loved once again. Dream is a perfect Good for Luna. Celestia, as great as she is, has never truly known what evil in oneself is like, so she can never know what The Good is until she can conquer herself. I dream maybe once every couple months. And it's always something boring too.

i cant dream due to some nutrient my body doesn't produce or not very well and now im sad and ill probably never remember this
