Actually ponies were never gay. They were only (until recently) aimed at entertaining little girls. There is nothing in the show that provides any evidence about Hasbro's opinions on sexuality one way or the other (unless you ask those bronies who insist Rainbow Dash is a lesbian). However, seeing as you wrote that comment so hastily as to forget to capitalize 'congratulations' and 'and', I doubt you took the time to perform any research concerning the matter.
