I just saw the bronies posting, and got interested so it was the bronies not the haters.

Became a brony because of my friend recommending it to me.

I became a brony on a day after finding out about the show, season one had already ended. So I was able to see all the season in the weekend. Then i found about the hate, the music, the art, the horrible r34 stuff. And even though its got its ups and downs i till of being a brony and right now im making a derpy hooves plush toy.

I, for one, didn't even know about the hate wars until after I was a brony. I joined funnyjunk 2 or so months after becoming one. I simply saw that a lot of people liked this new show. I saw a bunch of cute pictures and thought, "Well, looks like something I would probably like." So, I tried it out and, go figure, I liked it. There wasn't much resistance or anything for me, I simply tried it, liked it, and didn't think too much of it.
