Here's a fun fact for you guys:

When Lauren Faust was first commissioned by The Hub to spearhead a reboot of My Little Pony, she made a point of loading the show with action, adventure and all kinds of monsters and antagonists.

One of her biggest goals was to well and truly destroy the image that My Little Pony was a franchise that should only ever appeal to little girls.

This show is adored by girls and women young and old, as well as the brony community that you all love to hate.

Only once in a generation are we given a TV show that can transcend both age and gender on this scale. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic does just that, and that's why it has such a large adult male fanbase. We're not weird or immature. We just know a good thing when we see it. :)

Fun Fact: the demographic for MLP is aimed towards little girls no matter how much you want to believe that it's not. It doesn't mean that you can't like it, it just means that you were attracted to something that is for little girls.
