I'm suprised at how fast they have new generations going. I'll admit, I wasn't a huge fan of Black and White because some of the pokemon weren't the brightest, but the argument presented was Muk v Garbador, and eventually I just said "meh, maybe I just miss the old times".

After looking at X and Y, I like those 3 starters, I don't think there's been too many fox/hedgehogs/frogs, especially not as starters! And about 5th and 6th generation, I LOVE the type combinations!

I wonder if theres gonna be a Z version.

I think it will be really good, and personally, I actually like the new starters. I think I'm going to start with Chespin and I'm going to get Pokemon Y.

i like these pokemon way better than black 'n white pokemon o_o Might just be because they're the first ones rendered on the newest console so they look the shiniest...

Fire-Fennekin, (japanese name translates to something like young fox)

Grass- Chespin, (japanese translates as a combination of hedgehog, needle and chestnut)

Water- Froakie, (combination of the noise a frog makes, bubble, and splash)

Honestly, i like the look of these a teensy bit more than i did Black and White... i hope the fox and hedgehog in particular develop nicely...

It's a game for the 3Ds. The games are named after the 3 dimensions, which are X, Y, and the 3rd game will be Z. It's actually clever, and it's about time they didn't use a rock or a color.

But tbh. In my opinion it is not clever at all. Kind of lazy actually. They could of thought of a cool name and gone from naming just colors or letters and came up with a cool name. Not just name it after the 3DS's abilities for 3d.

But hell this is an opinion so this comment will thumbed down very fast. I am not hating on Pokemon, just the people naming the games.
