Well I have to admit, it's great being part of a group centered around something as silly as a children's show and seeing everyone else flip their shit over it. It really is a blast, and there's no sign of it dying down.

I'd just like to add to this that none of the other trends have a collective name.
Joining a group of people who all call themselves "bronies" is what makes it seem like it was done for acceptance.

I'm guessing most of them actually watch and enjoy the show unlike bronies. But to be honest, they shouldn't flood sites like Funnyjunk with their content. They should go to an actual avatar fansite, as most of the users on this site don't even watch avatar.

I regret to inform you we really do watch a show for 8 year old girls.

I don't really have a problem with either being here, but yeah I think there are too many posts from both ponytime and bendingtime, even though I do watch both shows.

I mean, yeah, sure it's girly and childish, but in all honesty, it isn't as grating as you'd initially think. Allegedly the design mentality was to create something that kids would watch without their parents wanting to remove their sensory organs. Not grating, somewhat charming... If you've got a soft spot for that kind of thing, it's not an alien idea. But whatever, everyone can have an opinion, even if we don't agree.
