I watched most of season one.

I found their voices to be somewhat shrill, fluttershy's in particular. It's just sounds plain strange, like someone pretending to whisper/mumble but actually speaking clearly.

The Cuie Mark Crusaders are a bit slow. After the talent show episode it was obvious that Sweetie belle's CM would be a music not or would have something to do with singing, and Scootalo would have something to do with her scooter and trick riding. I can't really guess for Apple Bloom, but my instinct is it will be an Apple tree's flower. It's completely aggravating how they drag out figuring out what their cutie marks are, even rejecting Twilight and the gangs' (very useful) advice to be themselves.

Also: why do they keep on being called "My little ponies" when anyone wants to refer to a group while talking to them (like Celestia talking to Applejack and the gang, or Rarity talking to the cutie mark crusaders)? There's so many bad puns like this in the series. (everypony, for example)

I watched most of season one, but is skipped the last few episodes. I have no noticeable interest in watching season 2.

I can honestly say I am no longer a brony. I watched every single episode and now I can't. goes to show one can escape from the holds of MLP

well ill give you props for giving it a shot, but if i dont like something i wouldnt watch the entire season, (especially a MLP season that has 26 episodes in it)
but anyways the show aint for everyone

Well the thing was I really wanted to like it, I love some of the fanbase

well if you like just random stuff with ponies in it and not necessarily the show, youtube
ponies the antholgy (about 20 mins long) and ponies the anthology 2 (an hour and a half long but the last 10 mins are pointless)

these two videos are fanmade, and they use clips from the show and sync it up to random songs, tv clip sound bites, and other randomness

(also if you check those out there is like a minute or two long intro that you can skip)

Well the one I always recommend is episode 4 season 2 "Luna Eclipsed"

When I first watched MLP, I couldn't get over the fact that I was watching a show for little girls (It is, stop kidding yourselves)
I watched a few episodes, then didn't think more of it.
It took some weeks before I watched some more episodes, and once the whole "this is a show for little girls" feeling was gone, I really enjoyed it.

And that's how Equestria was made!

My problem is that the characters in the show aren't so nice as they are supposed to be.
Many of them are dumbfuck, others are unfriend and some are just pointless nolifes.

well i dont think they are suppose to be perfectly nice, and what not. having character flaws (and plenty of them) adds more to the character.

and if you were to stick to the show you would see more of them and your opinions of the different characters would probably improve, but whatever you gave the show a shot so not like you need to like them or anything


and no your right being nice doesnt prevent all problems from happening, but it would be an extremely annoying show if everyone was perfectly nice to eachother and there was never any conflict between any of the characters, (thats my little pony generation 3.5 show, extremely painful to watch, seen one and a half episodes of it and its nothing but tea parties and complete lack of story). thats why there is always a little personal conflict between the characters that they have to over come in order to still be friends.

like an example of this is where complete opposite personalities of Rarity (the white drama queen fashion pony) and Applejack (the orange Country girl ) were caught in a storm and were force to take shelter together in their friends twilights (purple know it all) house for the night where because of there differences were fighting the whole time till the point where they did some damage to the house and they had to put aside there minor differences in order to repair twilight's house, in turn learning to accept one another for who they are while still being polar oppisites

that i think is a much more interesting story for an episode instead of three ponies had a sleep over in a thunderstorm and had to fix a broken window

Fair enough, at least you tried. That's more than most people can say.
I'd just like to mention though, as some people might have said, the first two episodes are the weakest. Also, 10 minutes is hardly enough time in my opinion to really get into the show.
I'd look up Lesson Zero, Party of One, or Royal Canterlot Wedding, these are some seriously good episodes.

It's your choice, if you like it or not. And I'm not gonna force you to watch anymore if you don't want to, but the first two episodes are the weakest. If you really wanna give it another chance, then start from there. Uhm, if you want, that is.

Well if you say that the first two episodes are bad, then I might give a little try later. There must be something good about MLP, since so many ppl are losing their shit for it.

That was the first half of the pilot. The Pilot has very little to no relevance to the actual show. Episodes 1 and 2 are the pilot.
