talk with innkeepers all around. one will eventually tell you about someone in windhelm named Aventus Aretino is trying to preform the dark sacrament. this will start a new quest. go meet and talk to him to start a quest series that will result in you being able to join the dark brotherhood. i wont say more because the events are prettttty epic and i dont wanna spoil.
