yes they'll be a bit irritating but at the same time it would be just terrible to simply separate them from everybody else

I too think it would be a terrible thing and it's great that retarded people are now being accepted, but when something happens that is ... strange to say the least(like sneezing on somebody on purpose then laughing for the next 5 minutes), and nobody cares about it, that's what irritates me. For instance in the example above, it would be fine for me if that retard were sorry and did it on accident or somebody else told them why they shouldn't do that and actually cared that they sneezed on someone, but they weren't sorry and started laughing excessively and nobody cared about it(if you didn't already figure it out, this happened to me)

There seems to be a lack of counter-argument in this thread, so I shall delivar.

Cookie monsters is what we call "kooky". You know, stupid acting, but in a sort of clumsy way.

Derpy Hooves did something legitimately stupid and actually caused property damage, and was barely even scolded for her actions.

In contrast, Derpy's actions are a lot more severe.

Another thing to keep in mind is Rainbow Dash's reaction to the situation. She was PISSED. "Don't do any more damage than you've already done!" (paraphrasing). This can be interpreted as hateful towards the mentally deficient.

Sure, Derpy may have added "flavour", she may be "unique", but the actions of the parents were totally justified. Parents have the right to raise their kids however they like. If they want to shelter their kids, that's fine. Hasbro would rather appease those concerned parents than lose viewers.

I would also like to point out the many Derpy cameos. She obviously wasn't removed entirely.

The scene was changed to appease the parents. The original clip still exists, you can watch it a billion times on youtube. There is simply an alternate version now, so the parents are happy.

Now please-- PLEASE, people, let's STOP bitching about Derpy Hooves.

I don't understand why you got down-thumbed, You're simply providing people with the other side, they themselves should be chasted for trying to hide your comment with thumbs down...isn't that what the parents are doing with derpy?

just one thing.. why appease the parents, when we could tell them that if they don't want their kids to see a disabled person on a cartoon show, then why not just not watch it?


I hate censoreing and overprotective parents who get offended by something that might possibly offend someone else.

They leave in derpy, the kids stop watching. You keep watching.

They remove derpy, the kids keep watching. You ALSO keep watching.

good point there. but whatever people say. I really dislike these overprotective parents. I had a friend who wasn't allowed to do anything at all when we were young. when we went swimming she wasn't allowed in the deep end of the pool. now that's just silly.

personally i dont like bronies just because most of the funny content is past the pony sea and skipping so many posts is annoying but i stopped and watched this video and you are absolutely right
