Hate is a strong word (You probably don't know this because you're 12.), I just simply dislike them because they're annoying and so far up their own ass. To them everyone who dislikes them or the show is a "hater troll". They think their show is a legacy and could start a new religion about it. For starters thank you for responding. Well to go off of what you said, if you only dislike them that wouldn't give you the right to say they should disappear. Everyone has the right to enjoy what they like and should do so without prejudice. I will admit that you have a good point about some bronies that do take the show too far, it is in no way as popular as it should be, its a good show, but not one people should be obsessed with. As for the erotic thrill, i cant speak for others, but as for myself the show does not give me any sexual pleasure. I will admit that some fan made content where the characters are personified and depicted as humans I do enjoy it to a degree but no more than people who like other animated characters. Would love to hear more, I enjoy hearing others opinions on matters like this. If you have more to add I look forward to hearing more and continue this conversation.

Just think of it, the most annoying and obnoxious fan base just stops watching the show and the fad is dead and gone, no more ponyspam, no more pony branding every where, and maybe the hundreds and thousands of dollars being donated for pony documentaries could go to children without homes. well im sorry to disappoint you but MLP isn't going away anytime soon. It's fanbase is too large and secure to just go away and more content will be on its way soon enough when season three starts airing. And the show itself is a cultural phenomenon. But just like anything it wont last forever, one day the show will be canceled and you will get your day. Sometime after that MLP comics and fan art will stop being posted just as many other fads (Legend of Korra and Pokemon as examples). But until that day comes just stop caring and ignore pony post, and if you see on, don't acknowledge it. You have all the time in the world. Its a show about ponies. There is no reason for there to be all the outright "hate" it gets and i'm sure you agree. . Just so you know, out of everyone ive talked to about the matter, you are the most mature and well thought out in your comments, and you avoid vulgar language for the most part, and I thank you.

Well, if they were to commit suicide over the show being cancelled, then yeah.

But I think it's going to end up like trekkies, we're just going to continue being fans, perhaps watch reruns once in a while. some of us will move on with fond memories and onto something different, while the rest will continue to produce fan content like they've always had since the beginning.

In the end, if someone enjoyed the time they "wasted," then it wasn't wasted to begin with. I certainly have, being a huge fan of MLP and all, and I wouldn't regret any of it even if the show were to cancel.
