try looking at it from a different perspective, think of a shirt that says something like "I'm a hardcore gamer," and it's plastered with games like call of duty or angry birds. you can probably imagine quite a few people getting peeved at that being considered "hardcore" gaming.

The mistake you're making is thinking that this constitutes as some sort of "low" for us as a group in general.

Suggesting that it's a low (which, let me tell you, there are PLENTY that can be seen as much lower than this) means you have some sort of perceived expectations of the fandom. As I can see from some of your other comments, you also reference "love and tolerance" when criticizing fans.

I understand your interpretation of my message as a generalization of the entire fanbase. However, I must object by stating that I'm only referring to the ones raging via seeing this post because "it's not G4."

The expectations of the fandom that I typically see are just very low morally in a nutshell (raging when someone doesn't like their show, shoving it in their faces, etc.).

The "love and tolerance" tidbit is referenced due to the exposure of the phrase during my spare time witnessing these people in their habitats (mainly ponytime posts I come across while surfing from FP). After seeing a lot of the bronies saying this phrase as though it's the greatest motto in their world, I just figured they do indeed give a shit.

I didn't see it as a generalization of the entire fanbase, just that you seemed like another person who feels like they had to knock the fandom down a peg in some sense. And let me tell you, I come across a lot of people like that.

And that isn't fair, honestly. I don't see how people get this idea that we rage at others for not liking our show. I know that there are fans who do rage, but damn do I have a hard time finding them.

I would agree that, as a whole, we can get pretty damn defensive and pushy, but that's when the fandom itself is involved, not the show. when people DO talk about the show in a negative way, it's often to attack fans with. Anyone who conveys their opinion in a decent enough way usually gets praise from us.

Yes, I completely understand that and will never deny whom the show is intended for.
Even if right now they do fanservice, it is still a show for little girls.
My problem is how absolutely brain dead cancerous some series, such as the Newborn Cuties is.

Consider the fact that recent studies have proved that watching Spongebob can be bad for children ("The kids who sat through the 9-minute SpongeBob clip later scored 10% lower on cognitive tests"). Then think about what something with even less content than spongebob does lol.

Either way, Im not a hardcore brony (like I mention in a different post, I like the fan music and such, not really the show itself), so not going to give an essay on it :P Heck, the things I do like most bronies hate (the askpinkaminadianepie.tumblrI for example).
