Why do my childhood feels keep coming back to haunt me!? This is the 6th post I've seen that have either ruined my childhood, or gave me the WORST feels you can ever imagine. Why damn it?

because that's the era we grew up in, not this give-out-a-medal-for-participating-i-find-that-offensive-to-me era. hell Vietnam was only a generation (or two) before us think about how the kids of that era felt when they got older

I don't see how this ruins your childhood but by reminding you of it. This movie was sad as a kid and it's still sad now, just like that one with the fox and the old lady, or the one with they hyenas, or any of those old Disney pictures where a young protagonist loses their parents early on. When I see them again as an adult, I get a shiver down my spine and feel heartbroken at the heartbreaking moments, but how could a greater awareness of the sorrow ruin your childhood, especially when these movies always have upbeat, motivational moments throughout?

I meant that I have seen sad posts such as these, and posts that ruin your childhood, i.e. Kiara and Kovu in Lion King 2 being related, yet still falling in love with each other. That's a post that ruins one's childhood, cause it brings a more mature theme to the table that we didn't know as kids.
