mondominiman ponchovia benderisgreat midnightmike brisineo xgrandmoffx actionmastermegatr irishjohnny hoodini bronyfluttershy Hey guys thanks for commenting on my guitar posts. Here's the vid yall wanted...Well...a vid.
Great to see you got it working, and nice song to start with. I like how smooth and mellow it starts out, keep up the great work and I hope to see more later on. Oh if you want a slower guitar melody to start with I think The Islander by Nightwish would be a good pick. I don't know if Rocksmith has it but here's a quick video for you to check out if you like.
One song at a time lol, but that definitely sounds like something I'd like to play.
But yeah, when I said I would have to get creative? I recorded the video on Xsplit, but the audio still wouldn't record. So I used a video camera I have laying around for videos. I used the audio from that and synced it up in movie maker. It worked so much better than I thought it would.
If that's your first guitar then you're rolling far better than I did when I started. I had a cheap-o Peavey to get going. How long have you been playing?
Well, I've actually been dabbling for about 10 years. My brother was the musician in the family and I just kinda borrowed his cheap-o and took a few lessons. But when he joined the Navy, he took his stuff with him. This is my first attempt to really learn.
Ah, gotcha. Rocksmith is a fun game at the least, and a good way to learn new songs. I'd personally recommend having an actual tutor to get your feet on the ground but you seem to be doing alright as it is.
I tried the whole tutor deal, but it's hard to get someone who teaches how you learn. Rocksmith just so happens to coincide with my learning style. As for the guitar, it was made to order at www.edroman.com/. If you're looking for a really nice guitar, I recommend them whole heartedly. The customer service was great.
Dude that was pretty good, within a few months I'm sure you'll rock that song no problem. I got a good laugh when it zoomed in on Luna's face Nice shirt btw . Anyways keep on practicing and I hope to see more updates in the future.
If this is your first time making a dedicated effort to learn music, then my recommendation is to practice songs with a simpler rhythm and work up to more complicated stuff. You probably don't need to go all the way down to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, though, if you've been dabbling for years. That being said, if the stuff you're practicing with Rocksmith is working for you, by all means, keep it up.
