And part of community is the fact there are going to be things you don't like. In example, I watched legend of korra a couple times and didn't find it that interesting. I also didn't find Dolan comics funny at all. But I never posted in any of the LOK or Dolan posts how much I hated it and the fact that it was everywhere. There's this convenient "next" button I used.
And obviously there are people who like MLP. Otherwise the posts wouldn't get thumbs. You can even thumb it down if you want. But making comments bashing a community because they like something and create memes like any other internet fan following (Walking dead, Legend of Korra, various movies) is self-centered and completely retarded.

However, I agree. This pointless arguing is getting us nowhere. I'd just like to be able to post a related pony picture outside ponytime, without it being thumbed down, because it's ponies, even if it's relevant.
