She gave him a pigeon blood ruby; they're fucking rare and a lot more expensive than diamonds. Sure she needed RD remind her, but that's because she's used to having ponies haul stuff around for her (remember Sweet n Elite?)

And rubies stay tiny because of something that I don't remember.

Well in season 1 and...maybe in season 2? She made a lot of dresses for free. But I agree! She is one of the stingiest ponies I've seen in the show lol
