I honestly don't have a problem with her becoming an Alicorn, however, what I DO have a problem with are a few simple questions. How are they going to do season 4? Is she still going to live with her friends? Are her friends moving to where she lives? Is she no longer going to be the main character and we're only focusing on ponyville? Or is it just going to be about her?

it took me a couple of days to think all this over, i do agree with people when they say the change wasnt timed right or stuff like that, but i began to think of examples;
think of it like a dress, i told myself "she's just changed her clothes, sure nobody really likes the dress but we're just not used to it"
we've just got to remember its still twilight, they said she would still be living in ponyville (i would love to see them pull that off being a princess with princess duties and all) but i guess we will have to wait for S4
on a side note if when she was teleported into that empty realm she was greeted but that wizard who's name i forget instead of Celestia that could have been better
