He puts these pictures in to show them off for others to see. Its not like he claims that any are his. If anything people who like that picture would go and look for the source thus bringing more people to check out your friend's artwork

Hey, I am Ned Arkenstone, the artist who drew the traditional style Luna you are discussing. While I am flattered that my art is admired, I do ask that when it's posted, a link to my page or my picture is posted as well. Contrary to what has been stated, I DO want my art to be spread. I just would like to know about it, so I can see where it ends up, and if possible, I'd like to know beforehand.

I also do not agree that the op should be excused from posting source links. Even if he does post 50+ pictures, there is no reason it can't be done. Equestria daily makes a point to do it. All I'm saying is, if the goal is to give artists more traffic, you need to post the source link so it's easier for folks to find.

That's like saying if I steal music to play other places, people will play the music and give them the recognition. It only makes sense if there's a source.

Well think about it, how many pictures does he use in each of there? 50+ usually. He does not really have the time to find the original source for all of them.
