Here you go, sorry for the lack of colour, but I draw these by pen and trying to add colour wouldn't really work well. A more skilled artist would be able to add it though.

Okay. First off, do you color, do you hand draw, and have you done cover arts before?

I hand draw then scan, and no, I've not done cover art before. You can see my drawings at the end of the comps.

Not knocking your skills or anything, but if I was going to choose a hand-drawn picture, it'd have to be in color. My preferred would be digitally drawn, but I've not really had any luck with artists on that front.

If you want you can draw it and I'll see if it fits with what I want it to look like.

Yeah, that's the thing, I've tried. I've even messaged one of them, yet he hasn't even responded back. This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm not having much luck in that regard.

Maybe you should consider a commission then? It's just natural that artists don't want to work for free if they don't even know you ^^'

I wanted a commission. The person I messaged just ignored me after I told him what I wanted done. I don't even know what to do for commissions anyways... Do I just find an artist I like on Deviantart and just ask them? How do I choose? :l

You can look through their gallery and if you like the stuff you see just go check if they have a commissioninfo linked on their frontpage somewhere. If they don't just go note and ask them. Some artists don't offer commishs because they don't believe someone would buy them but they are very likely to sell you one if you ask them politely :3
