AKM is a old version that isn't used too much anymore , even though its an excellent rifle even then the ak-47 except the stopping power of the 47

You got it backwards, an AKM is the slightly modified version of the 47, same everything, just receiver was slightly modified. The true Atvomat Kalishnikova 1947 was not mass produced in the numbers that the AKM was, but the AKM's blueprints were sent out across all of the Eastern Bloc countries like cake at a party, so most 'AK 47's that you see are ACTUALLY AKMs.
