I believe the way it works right now is everyone sees the same item(s) on the content. It might reset and put new items on the page, but whoever can claim it the fastest gets it. So in other words, I've been having the same problem because I too am a slow retard.

no because other wise you could go to a picture from years ago and it would be deserted and you could get all the items, there are like 20 of a load of items a day or like 1 rare item a day and when 20 people take the items around the site that item is out of stock
