We here at Eqd have received sad news today. Michael Moron's, an ll year old boy in North Carolina, recently attempted to take his own
life due to bullying received on account of being a brony. Fortunately, the attempt was caught and halted in time to save his life, but he
sustained severe brain damage. The family has reached out and is asking if the community from the show he loves can help out with the
medical expenses.
His facebook page can be found here, and money can be donated over on Paypal address: @ gmail_ com_
Everyone here at Equestria Daily offers our deepest condolences to the family of Michael and wishes him a complete and speedy
rec OVEN.
Home for those wondering: We have received ct: : rrt. The story and donation link is legitimate.
Sorry for the lack of funny in this one, buil figured this needs signal boosting.
Bottom line is, no should be pushed to attempting suicide, especially not because of
their choice in TV shows. We can probably all agree how people can be beyond shitty sometimes,
but right new Michael needs help.
Link in the description contains proof, more info, and ways to donate.

I think after being a brony, receiving brain damage shouldn't make a difference.

Man the **** up. I've been through bullying, and trust me when I say that noone is going to solve your problems for you. You can't go around trying to pretend that everything is going to be alright and it will never happen again if we wish hard enough. It's going to happen. The world is full of douchebags and some of them will try to hurt you. Sitting in the corner crying about how bad society is and how terrible the bullies are is never going to be the solution. Learn to deal with it, don't try to delude yourself it's something avoidable.

TL;DR It just is okay.

When someone starts a comment "dude, that's just not okay" and the comment immediately after ends "that just is okay", do you not think they could be linked?
And it may not be a rephrase per se, but if the best argument you have is my grammatical errors, then this just became a very boring conversation.

In that case you should simply have done a paragraph, not a TL;DR.

Most of this thread has been a discussion about how we perceived your grammatical errors.

If you referrer to a nonexistent item in your argument I must either point it out, or ignore it, as I cannot make a valid argument against an invalid argument.

Mooproxy... I think almost everybody knows you're a psychopath now.

You just don't support suicide... You just don't. A normal functioning human being doesn't talk like this. Empathy is something everyone with a healthy brain has.

Also, I show empathy to those who aren't stupid enough to try to commit suicide because they don't like people teasing them for watching a show designed for 3-6 year old girls. Those people should remove themselves from the gene pool

This generation of the show was designed by someone who wanted it to be for those 3-6yo girls and their loved ones (parents/older brothers/etc.), so people other than little girls liking it is not in the least bit surprising.

And yeah, maybe not everyone that commits suicide deserves your sympathy, but an 11 year old kid who has ADHD who couldn't handle being verbally abused daily seems like someone you should probably cut a little slack to. Especially since he is 11. He's not really a person yet, he's still growing and learning and all that ****.

tl;dr Being empathetic doesn't cost you anything, stop being a stingy ****.

He watches a show made for little girls, gets bullied, tries to kill himself.

Sorry, I know I'll get red thumbed for this, but it's the parents fault. If when I have kids my son is watching **** that I know he's gonna get bullied for I'm gonna sit him down and have a chat. It's preparation for life.

No son, You aren't going to wear a dress to school. Why? Becuase you're going to get made fun of. I know you want to, but wait until you're in an older social situation where people can make mature decisions.

Let's be honest. Kids that young are not mature enough to understand when someone's different and what that means. They see someone different and see it as an easy target.

As a parent you should understand this and steer your children away from being a n easy target for bullies, at least due your part in preventing it. There's always going to be bullies, just like there's always going to be murderer's, and rapists, and people who want to blow you up. But a little prevention goes a long way.

Honestly, I agree bad parenting plays a big part here. Whether or not they knew this was happening, if your kid is getting bullied to the extent that they're contemplating suicide, the parents should be aware and step in.

If I were his parents, I'd have been happy for him to watch the show, but I'd probably have advised him to not tell other kids about it, simply because of the eternal **** you receive if you're different in some way at age 11. But then again, maybe the kids learned that he watched the show before his parents knew. Once that happens, he'd never get peace from the other kids no matter if his parents stepped in or not.

At the end of the day though, I think he still deserves help. Whether or not his parents messed up, he's eleven and he in no way deserved this ****.

He made the decision to try to take his life. He can live with the consequences.

I've been dealing with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis for 5 years. I'm not going to go into a lengthy story about my life, because I've come to terms with my **** and am happy in life. But, to give you an idea, I had my first episode when I was 19, the right side of my body went numb for a month and a half. I couldn't walk without stumbling, couldn't drive, couldn't play video games, couldn't see straight, talked with a lisp, bit my tongue constantly while eating, couldn't even watch TV shows without wearing an eyepatch. I thought it was going to last for the rest of my life (This was before we knew it was Relapsing Remitting). I have never felt more depressed in my life. I Honestly thought about suicide. Then I came to the realization of what it would do to my family, friends and in the end what it would say about myself.

I didn't take the easy way out so **** anyone who tries. If you are so selfish and pathetic that you can't take into consideration what killing yourself will do to the people close to you then do it, kill yourself.

Live your life and be happy for what you have. I'm not saying I have the worst situation but it's certainly not the greatest.
