Well, as most people said, it was pretty rushed, and the premise they used to make Twilight an alicorn was pretty shaky even for MLP logic. The problems with the mane six was so quickly solved that they could have just left it out all together and had her modify the spell and have done with it after some soul searching, so that idea doesn't really pay off as big as I'd hoped. The music was pretty good, and enjoyable, but the whole thing was a song, pretty much without end, and even musicals have times where they have a normal dialog or two every now and then. ...And if you really look into it, this story's not even that much about Twilight...it's more about Celestia's triumphs in raising and training and watching over her so perfectly as to give her what she needed to become a princess, which honestly, gave the story something it needed for me, and I love that aspect...not to mention FIRST CELESTIA SONG, YES!!!! All in all, I liked it despite it's obvious flaws. Is it perfect, hell no, will I watch it again and again, hell yes. Great episode all around, and here's to hoping for a few more answers and closure in the next season!
