Well I don't know what I expected. But...not this. I actually thought it would be like a kick-off of the current series. With understandable elements, fluent story, plot and action. The animation is awesome. Voices are...ok but spoke far too less. The scenario. Just...no...I'm kind of dissapointed. They definetly should have worked more on the story and it's fluency.

Ugh... I was expecting so much more.
The dialogue was weird, and wasn't fluent. Not to mention Rainbow wasn't her naively dumb likable self, she was just annoying and reused egghead like a two year old.
Twilight was a bit too panicky I think, and Rainbow was strangely moral when she found out the monster could talk. Kira Buckland as Twilight was the only voice actor that sounded remotely like the original, and story and setup were kind of boring. When you get to basics it's just 'Twilight make potion cause Twilight smart and Ronibow Douche make new trick cuz yolo!'
And the PPG thing... ******* really? Really? Ugh... That's jumping the shark and outright dumb. Also, Pinkie showing up? I know it's Pinkie logic, but... no. That's just a ******* cop-out. And for my last gripe, the double rainboom didn't even play much of a prominent role, contrary to the title, and was barely different from the original rainboom other than sending Rainbow to juump-the-shark-land.
One more thing - Rainbow's ****** wings are damn creepy.
Overall it's not terrible, just nothing like I was hoping for and expecting. It's bad and there's a lot to complain about, but it isn't abismal.

The writing was like something out a kindergarten class... Did they take anyone they could find?
