The Undead Dragon is the Avatar of Beliar while the nameless hero is the Avatar of Innos, the took the form as dragon after the body of Krushak or Sleeper was banished from earth (or however the planet is called).

I want a real gothic 4 made by Piranha Bytes. But, what are the chances for it to be released?

Pretty bad, the rights for Gothic is somehow owned by Jowood.
But some modders are going to make a gothic 3 mod for Gothic 2 with a own story that is directly connected with Gothic 2, it's called Gothic Openmod and will probably take some time until the release.

Actually the rights are back to Piranha Bytes, after the release of Risen 2. Also, JoWood doesn't exist anymore, because no money left on the company after the release of Arcania.


Also I read about a gothic 3 mod, in which they try to make the story with chapters, 3 ways to begin the game and only one ending ( like gothic 1 and 2 ), the Adanos one, and other things which will make the game similar to Gothic 1 and 2.

Really, I didn't know that, but a Gothic 4 or 5 is probably going to take a while.

It's been ages since I played Gothic 1 and 2... and the 3rd one was a big pile of steaming shit.

Not compared to the 4th one :D. When you play the 4th you will say that Gothic 3 is a very good game :D
