Could i please give my honest opinion without being hated on? thank you.

I personally thought that "MLD" was not as sad as everyone made it out to be. The concept was good, but the writing wasnt. I might have been a bit more engaged if it was not written in first person. which slightly ruined it for me. as all i was reading was some 17 year old's wish fulfilment, not something i could relate to.
If you are going to write a sadfic, you need to give the community a faceless character with a name, instead of inserting yourself.

The community, specifically this one, seems to overreact to it as well. saying they "cried for hours". If you did or didnt is not my problem, but if you are going to insult and toenail clipping down people who didnt cry, then isnt that a bit hypocritical? seeing as this community seems to complain about haters a lot, yet you are hating people part of your own community simply because they didnt like what you liked.

I have read this story 3 times so far and every time I cry.
I do not think I am the man I once was before reading this, but you know what? I don't care. This story, I think, has changed me for the better. It is so well written and deserves so much more love than it already has.
