I lways just found it awesome that the creator of my favourite show also had big roles in all of my other favourite shows.

She was tasked with making the "script bible" for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She created the basis for the story/world.

All the other shows: I don't know how much she had to do with them.

Okay, I was wrong about her even lesser job for MLP. But everything else, she did very little work on, she probably worked as an animator's assistant, who animates the in-betweeners, which would also mean that she had probably one isolated scene out of an entire movie, or several short sections in cartoons.

I'm not arguing about her role in the animation because I have no clue.

Even if people whine that OP didn't create them; OP still did the crime of not crediting the true creators, and acting like Lauren Faust was the big reason these shows came together.

And it's all for obvious reasons; She's the creator of MLP, so she's like a goddess to these types of people.

She didn't "animate" Iron Giant she did some "animation" for Iron Giant.
Stop making it out like she made a giant portion of the movie.

Get over yourself and give credit to the REAL creators of these phenomenal animation pieces.

That's like crediting an intern for the creation of 40 different movies because she served coffee to all of them.
OP didn't even get the marriage bit right, so there's undeserved credit there.
And Craig McCracken has worked a much widely ranged rap sheet of works than Lauren Faust, I'd think he's more deserving of the credit of his own shows than Lauren is.

I see an issue for the following reasons;
OP's lack of acknowledging what the fuck she actually did, and just posting what she was "involved in" in such a way it makes it seem like she created the whole thing
Lauren Faust didn't do any major roles in two of these; KND (only one fucking episode and fucking walk cycles.)
She was a singular animator in Iron Giant; there's about two or three dozen others in that damn project, a lot of them probably did more than she ever did, but she gets the credit because she made a show about ponies?
Her only major roles were in MLP (creator) PPG (writer) and Fosters (Director), but she's instead over emphasized as someone who MADE all of these.
And what the fuck is with OP for not only not mentioning who she's married to, but mistakening them? That's not acceptable, because we're talking about Gennedy Tartokovsky, and Craig McCracken, two animators that have a much higher credential listing that dominates Lauren's, two animators that deserve a vast amount more respect than someone who just pours coffee.

If you were honestly trying to justify this because you're a brony, you're doing a bad job of it.

I picked up on the bullshit as soon as OP claimed she made PPG, which I know is incorrect, I saw an interview with the original creator where he detailed the length of the animation process. I thought the marriage stuff was correct, but thank you for fact checking. If more movie producers hired people like you, we wouldn't have had the travesty of...that one movie M. Night Shamalamadingdong made that no one in bendingtime wants to talk about. Wow, it's so bad I can't physically type its name!

I'm just enraged at the gall of people like OP who take one mistake, one single misconception of who created what, and pisses all over everything else to promote the name of the person they shower with admiration.

Yeah man, I hear ya. I'm more a writer then an animator, but I still have a lot of love for those shows, they taught me a lot about what works and what doesn't, at least in terms of storytelling.

I'm also a writer, but I've worked with a lot of animators who look up to a lot of creators of creators of animation; a lot of them involve Tartokovsky and McCracken for various reasons.

I'd do them no honor by letting this bullshit go without punishment.

Back in 2009 they said they were in the writing stages, which was co-produced by J.J Abrams at that time.
They're going to make it into an animated film, so it might enter Toonami as a feature film.
