It's probably less than the average for the total population, because being gay is attacked enough as it is that most people coping with being a closet gay would not want to appear even remotely feminine, so even approaching this show would undermine the denial which many of them put up to prevent themselves from being attacked by their classmates, parents, family members, random bigots, and some religion authority figures. I'm not just speculating here, a friend of mine recently came out and just about everyone he knew seriously believe somethings wrong with him.

thats my real concern...i dont wanna go out and start buying toys, the dvds, etc...i just want a new show to watch that isnt a live action show...cause people actors fry my nerves

then just start watching and maybe discuss some things with people, myself ive been into it for 2 years soon and i only got one DVD from my gf and som little figure of twilight sparkle, nothing more than that because i dont want any more things :D
