I was surprised when she didn't say something along those lines.

you guys do realize cartoon producers are harvesting your taste and culture to make you gobble all that crap and assimilate their product for whatever represents something positive in your eyes, right?

I've never bought anything from Hasbro, nor do I plan on doing so. I watch the show because I like it, and I get involved with the community because I choose to do so.

You mean a show is giving people what they want? Is changing to meet the tastes of it's audience? They're making it better?

Wait, I missed how this is a bad thing...

well okay, no problem for every tv show to hawk every other good show in order to increase it's audience view, then.

Don't worry, no originality here.

If you are familiar with south park, you might have seen the episode were proff. chaos trys to do something original, but is smacked down every time by "Simpsons did it!"
some shows have been on for years and years, making it extramly hard for ANYTHING to be 100% original

Original? Nothing is ever original. Everything is influenced by what came before it. And what's wrong with references? References cause people to return to the "original" source.

As for no originality, It's obvious there's none to be found in your comment.
