I just don't see the fun in being a girly man. Breaking shit, drinking beer, getting laid, melting peoples faces with a guitar, it's good times. I enjoy cartoons too, cartoons that are more oriented towards adults, South Park, Metalocalypse, 12 Oz Mouse etc.

trust me dude, i love all that shit aswell. got a gig on saturday and i'll be using my new ibanez 7 string which is EPIC. i used to drink but got annoyed at the hangovers, and the fact that you end up sleeping with scatty sluts most of the time... but yeah man some people like some things, and other people like other things. FJ just has to be more tolerable to everyone elses opinions.

But why not care bears? or teletubbies? or power puff girls? I'd be equally annoyed if I kept seeing that on a site that I frequently visit to be entertained. It's just too weird for me to understand, watching mlp would be what we call "guilty pleasure" meaning something totally lame that you like but are afraid to admit that you like it. I have plenty of my own guilty pleasures, but damn I really don't understand this whole mlp obsession, it's like seeing a bunch of dudes getting obsessed over a dildo, there's nothing for you there, it's made for girls.

the old one was made for girls, the tv show we watch is aimed at bronies, not for girls. which is why only bronies get the jokes put up on FJ and why only bronies enjoy the show.

the reasons i like MLP: it's trippy, hilarious, amazing voice actors and singers & interesting episode plots. those are the main reasons bronies enjoy the show :)

There's plenty of shows that have all of that, without the disturbingly cutesy ponies, every time I see one of those fuckin things it makes me cringe. Just because a movie about two guys buttfucking has a really good plot, excellent musical sections, top of the line special effects etc. etc. doesn't change the fact that it's a gay porno.

Well if you're watching a gay porno, you're probably gay, and there's nothing wrong with that. This has more to do with common sense than what's accepted by society, people look at me funny when I walk outside in my boxers, I don't give a fuck, it's a hot day and my balls need ventilation.

Word, you can like whatever you want, I just really hate this mlp fad and wish I didn't have to see it all over FJ and Youtube. Just don't expect to be treated like anything more than a girly man when you flaunt your love for the show or try to point out it's redeeming qualities, but I'm sure you're all used to that by now.

Yeah, I noticed it's gotten to the point that even bronies are getting pissed off about it. Like everybody has been suggesting for ages, if there's a content filter that allows a user to go through the site without seeing posts from the channels they block (I'm certainly getting tired of the morbid channel, as well as the bendytime channel) there wouldn't be these silly meaningless internet arguments, and peace and order would be restored to Funnyjunk, but that'll never happen.

the internet isn't the same without tedious arguments about the tiniest things.
