This entire fucking episode is just retarded.
I worked with mentally handicapped kids by volenteering to be a floor hockey coach. These kids (and some adults) all had either downs syndrome, autisim, or any other disorder. These kids were fucking great and awesome. One that had autisim, his name was evan, and he always ran around everybody and always got the goal in. then he ran to the corner and cheered.
Good times, but many of the kids there had watched MLP, and most of them liked derpy when she talked, and she was thier favorite pony. Course, when they got rid of it, I saw a kid I used to work with in the halls of my school, and he was really mad and upset about derpy's new voice.
Come on hasbro. 200 to 50,000 sigs and you go with the dilusional soccer moms?

I'm sick of this "love all mentally handicapped people" attitude. I have had numerous people in my family suffer from mental conditions that cripple them severely, and the LAST thing I want is faux sympathy and b'awwing for the sake of you feeling good about yourself because you did your good deed for today.
You don't ACTUALLY fucking care at all. "LOOK AT ME, I'M POLITICALLY CORRECT AND TOLERANT, AREN'T I A GREAT HUMAN SPECIMEN!"
It's nothing more than an act of fucking self-gratification and it's completely unnecessary. Just because somebody is unlucky enough to have suffered a condition that puts them at a disadvantage, that doesn't automatically warrant everyone on the planet looking for some free fucking good karma.

I spent middle school and high school helping mentally disabled kids. I was in the same classroom as them.
