The new season was put off for an entire year after the last one ended, and all we got was the Christmas relief episode, which I didn't even enjoy that much. The new season should be starting up around October, a more american time to start a season, probably due to the large number of American viewers the show now has.

At least, that is my theory.

many of us have latched onto the show and its characters, when at first we were repulsed and rather skeptical of the show, especially in my first viewing of it. just something about it kept me interested, and half way through season 1 I was hooked.

we genuinely enjoy it.

I read your other comments, though, and I can see where you're coming from. If you're honestly curious, I'd just recommend watching a good episode in full. I mean, I could wax poetic about how the characters are really unique, how the humour is innocent and still funny, and how the animation is mind-boggling, but it's ultimately a personal thing whether or not you'll end up liking it.
