Even though I'm not a brony myself, I don't really see why it's frowned upon to watch this show. Sure it's target demographic is little girls that doesn't mean only little girls should watch it. From what I've seen there isn't even necessarily anything girly about it, other than the main characters, and most other background characters are female. Just because something is meant for a certain type of person, doesn't mean it has to be.

Yeah I know what you mean, I just get annoyed by gender stereotypes. The only thing that would make you a "real" man or woman would be the fact that you are that gender.

Agreed. My husband and I watch it together. It's cute, funny and even though the target demographic is young girls it really doesn't scream "ultra girly" once you start watching. At least to me. Just because we're adults doesn't mean out sense of humor has to turn raunchy and violent because that's the "adult" thing to do. Don't get me wrong, I love some filthy humor, and don't mind violent films, but I can still enjoy innocent humor. :P

Exactly, some people think because you get older suddenly your tastes should automatically turn to something "more suited for adults" but that's not always the case.

How much do you want to bet you've seen movies like Snow White, Cinderella, and other "girly" Disney movies?

It's pointing out that the trend of adults watching cartoons is not new.

Also - you're using a picture from Pokemon?

I wasn't "Ponifying" the quote, I was applying it to a now common thing
Disney, who helped start the movement of cartoons for adults and kids alike, had a very valid point about who watches what, and how things meant for kids can be for adults, seeing that adults WERE kids at one point, and still have similar traits from both

Seriously...why do you bother defending the point XD.

Why not say "Yes it's a show made for kids, but I still enjoy it." Do you really need to go out and find quotes and reasoning's to support you liking a kids show? Yes it's a ******* kids show, get over it. We all love kids show, hell DBZ was a kids show back for us, did some parents still watch it? Well only the ******* awesome ones.

Basically, accept it for what it is, then do the same for yourself. Stop trying to justify it.

Didn't search for it, I saw a friend post it on Facebook, and I thought
"Very true", so yeah.
But I really don't give a **** when someone gives me **** about it being for kids, you're so right, we all love kid shows, and you shouldn't care what other people think about what you do.
As Patrick said, "The less you care about what other people think, the better you feel!"
