Honestly, I'd watch MLP over any of the stupid shows that pass as "cartoons" now.

i think the whole cartoon thing is becaming shit by the day, i am not saying that mlp is shit or that cartoons like flap jack is shit, but hey there are series like dexter and other stuff for when this happens, why run to hug a ponie when you can fap and see violence at the same time(i am not saying that i do not fap to ponies[and by that i mean i do])

Like I said, cartoons now are really low quality. MLP is an example of a cartoon that has similarities to cartoons I grew up with, namely, Looney Toons, Foster's Home, Dexter, etc.

What really pisses me off about haters, is that when they hate on MLP, they're doing it because they're "judging the book by its cover". I mean I was skeptical when I watched the first episode, but I thought the show was put together extremely well. Great voice acting, animation quality, humor...etc.

That's because the first two episodes are not as good as the others. They're there for setting up the characters and the plot. Trust me, if you at least try up to say...episode 5, you'll probably end up liking it. That's what a lot of people don't understand.

This post is a good example, (although not all the pony posts are funny) This one is funny because the person is role-playing as a character and the other party involved is not aware and misinterpreting what the other person is saying. Just be more open minded while reading posts, because it is all opinion based.

I have! five to be exact. a brony friend of mine had them on when i was visiting and i thought "well why the fuck not?". i try to give everything a chance before i pass judgement. so i sat there...and i watched them.....and i can honestly say i dont like the show. dont like the characters and i dont see the humor...well there were a few random bits that were funny.

BUT! i do not in anyway, shape, or form judge those who watch the show. it's a fucking cartoon. i will say i can get annoyed with some of the community but i figure those are the idiotic vocal minority. so that's where i stand.
