I wouldn't care honestly. There were a group of kids in my school who were all about naruto, and dressed in naruto stuff often (mostly headbands, but one also wore a cloak of some sort).

I know it was really geeky, but I never bothered with them, nor did any of the other kids. We just let them do their thing and moved on with our lives.

Also, currently in my college, I see plenty of people with the whole "scene" thing going on. Never have I looked at them and thought "faggot." If that's how they want to express themselves, then whatever.

No. I mean seriously, who says that a guy dressed up like a pony is awesome? And about the emo hair you're right. But I can guarantee you that people are gonna call you a faggot no matter what subculture you represent so just relax. If you choose to do something that makes you look different that's awesome, but don't expect that everybody is gonna like it because most people won't.
