49 days exactly.

Believe me, as the person who was responsible for writing it, I know exactly how long you were waiting for this.

I'm just very unhappy with myself over how long it took. It was totally unreasonable.

Well, it was not that bad, i waited almost a year for another story to be updated. Writers block, it was bad. So i mean as long as you keep it under 80 days i think thats understandable. a couple of weeks is ideal granted, though tough to do and not make a half-baked story.

With my next story, which I've already written the first chapter for, I'm going to try an experiment, and instead of releasing stories episodically, I'll write everything before hand and just release it essentially as one complete package. My first story essentially had the same thing; I posted links to it episodically, but I never actually submitted the story until the last chapter. I seemed to get a lot more notice and a much larger response that way. My theory is that some people don't want to wait months for a very long story to be released week by week; some people just want to kill a couple hours and read a story in its entirety.

Obviously, I can't do that with long stories like this; it would be too long. But something that would be like 4-5 chapters would be ideal. So I'll give it a try and see what happens. For now, I'm dealing with this.

Yea i understand that, i only wait for stories from people who ive read before, otherwise i usually pass the not finished ones.
