Exactly! They're the same girls as on the show, and I feel like I'm doing wrong by them by sexualizing them. So I don't. It's just like my female friends in real life. It just wouldn't sit right in my gizzard to see them that way, and that extends to fictional characters.

I see it on a bell curve. As my investment in something increases, so does my attraction to it. Eventually, as my enjoyment reaches a certain point, my attraction to it apexes, in what I like to call The Insta-Boner Crest. Things like the catsuits from Totally Spies goes here. However, this is a bell curve, and as my enjoyment continues to rise we see a downturn in attraction into a "sacred zone". Here I begin to see something as too close to me to be objectified sexually . Several factors beyond me enjoyment can place something here, mainly nostalgia or having a strong effect on me or a time in my life. Strangely enough, it is the nostalgia factor that places MLP and its characters here. I wasn't raised on previous gens or anything, but the show just has this innocence around it that takes me back to a time when the world was a happy place and problems had simple solutions. Yes I'm being sappy, and no you can't stop me!

Now, I'm not saying I don't like humanized ART of them. it's still cool and people come up with really creative ways to bridge the species gap, and yes, the more risque piece can and have gotten me up. I still refuse to act on it though, because yes, somethings are sacred, at least to me. Don't let that discourage you though. It's your genitalia after all and you of course have every right to manipulate it at what strikes your fancy, at least here on the 'net. My tastes just differ and are more sentimental.

TL;DR - They're innocent and I plan to see them that way.
