Little bit of nitpicking:

Twilight as 2D is a good choice, seeing as both are the ''leader'' of the group.
Fluttershy would've made a better Russel, both are a bit the quite one of the group and have a unique relationship with Discord and Dell respectively
Pinkie Pie would've been a better Murdoc, both are a bit extraordinary (and maybe both a bit satanic?)
Maybe Spike as Noodle? Not only by size but also with the relationship with 2D.
