So I didn't have enough time to make a theorem this week but I did re-read reflections for knowledge purposes (also, it's my favourite story arc)

Previously, I thought that Sombra died at the end of it (I don't know why, I just did) but after reading it again, I saw an opportunity and I took it.

(p.s this means that Equestria Sombra is now good and I will explain that if I am asked)

You either 'jaltor, l, 'jit,) hero
yourself become a villain

But if good Sombra forced himself to become evil (by absorbing the "evil" of the alternate princesses) how come the real Celestia and Luna did not turn evil as a result?

I'm thinking more or less the universes are intertwined through passive events, or when they were rectified and restored in the end, the connection between the universes ceased entirely, preventing the Good Celestia and Luna from being affected.

What if when Luna was thrown into the mirror which broke it, it also severed the connection between the two worlds. That would allow for the defeat of evil Celestia without causing any harm to Good Celestia. Unfortunately, this wasn't known by Sombra and so sacrificed himself in a noble but unnecessary act.

Except this is canon. Alternate dimension hopping business.

I second beasert's comment.
The content is from the official comic series.
The context of what goes on in the comic is that this is King Sombra from an alternate dimension, where all the villains are good and all the heroes are evil. In order to thwart the maniacal Celestia and Luna, the good King Sombra, with whom the good Celestia had had a romance, sacrifices his soul and state of being by absorbing the essence of evil from both of the evil alicorns. Thus, each world has a pair of good alicorn sisters, our Equestria has no King Sombra at all (because he is kill), and the newly turned evil King Sombra from the alternate universe is imprisoned somehow (I for get how).
