Because a baseball bat can't kill someone 200+ yards away with a pull of a trigger.
Seriously, these gun posts are ******* stupid, stop posting them, you're not going to change anything by posting on this ****** site.

What a bunch of NRA smoke & mirror *********. I spent 3 min on the FBI's website and see a report citing 67.7% of all homicides in 2011 in the US were committed by firearm, the next weapon used was Knife coming in at a wopping 13.4%.

That's murder specifically. Most people actually survive a gunshot wound from a handgun, provided that it doesn't hit a major organ/artery. So, yes, the gun MORTALITY rate is higher than other weapons. But crime that just happens to be VIOLENT? That says baseball bats, but photos are easily shopped, so i idk if it is specifically true. So to you good sir, while your heart is in the right place by questioning what this photo said, YOU sir, have inaccurate data based on the fact that the photo says violent crime, whereas your data is specifically violent crime that turned to homicide.

No the picture states "killers", so he speaks of deaths, not violence in general

the whole tobacco death thing is puffed up for dramatic effect

if a 600 pound man who smokes has a heart attack, they chalk up another smoking related death because clearly, if he had not smoked, those 12 big macs worth of grease in his arteries wouldn't have never caused a heart attack on their own

obviously it is bad for you, but it's more of a contributing factor than a primary cause the way they make it appear with their startling numbers
