That's neither here nor there, I'm saying that was their position of power. Being more or less cruel doesn't make you more or less of a dictator.

of course it does. but can you blame him for seizing power? dictatorship is basically a modern absolute monarchy, and that system of goverment was still dominant in russia before the revolution, so it's understandable that they would adopt a similair form.

the difference between lenin and stalin was that lenin really had the people's interests in mind while stalin was a insane murderous cunt who didn't even save his own son from prison.

Why do you keep diverting the discussion to a different topic? I simply said Lenin, Mao and Hitler were all dictators. That's it, and that's not an opinion that's just what they have in common, they ruled their respective nations under a dictatorship whether it's communist or fascist is neither here nor there. I never mentioned Stalin, what is wrong with you?

yes but you made the assumption that they are the same because they are all dictators. and i'm saying you can't compare them. thats like saying obama and kim jong un are both the same because they were all elected. you can't generalize stuff like that

Killing people who held slaves isn't that uncommon after a revolution.

He wasn't a saint, but you can't compare some of the biggest dictators killing millions of people to a guy who killed closer to 10 000 or so. Naturally more got killed during the revolution and civil war, but Lenin just wanted Russia to be rid of its previously infuential oligarchists.

Why not? He was a dictator responsible for the deaths of more than one million people. I'd rather question why Bush or Netanyahu are in there. Actually Lenin was worse than Bin Laden or Saddam as well.

It's not a name, actually, at least I suspect.

"Skarb" is how polish couples may refer to eachother, meaning that your other half is your treasure.

I suppose it's pretty logical you have cola with polish nametags on it, since UK is the biggest Polish colony in the world nowdays.

Also, I've been to woodstock in Poland and coke had this promotional offer, where you could get a can with a name (or anything else) of your choice written on it.

Except Muslims name their children Mohammad all the time...kind of like Hispanic people name their kids Jesus. Jesus is the Hebrew name for Joshua anyway, so it's still just a name. It's not a title. If they put Christ on the bottle that would be different, though that just means Anointed One/ is the Greek word for Messiah. Jesus Christ would specify a specific person, which would just be weird.

Sad Scandinavia is sad because we are getting so invaded by some many immigrants from the middle east its unbelievable. And then they complain how bad we treat them when we give them a home, money and education, paid for by tax money.

Uh, no, we are not being 'invaded' by immigrants, we are welcoming people down on their luck from war-torn countries, mainly, who would likely have died if not for countries willing to take them in. And it costs us exactly nothing. In fact, we profit from immigration.

'They' are not complaining either. There is no 'they'. You can't talk about one million immigrants as if they were one person. Yes, some people are discontent, but even as an advanced country with adequate immigration policies there are still a lot of flaws in the way things are handled and the immigrants are the ones who are dealt the consequences.

Did you know that for a lot of immigrants, they are sent to find a job within hours of crossing Scandinavian borders? That they are given next to no additional aid with this, but are instead expected to take the first job they can get, be given low-quality lodgings and enter a course on our languages that could do with much improvement? You are wrong if you believe that thousands of immigrants come here and are treated like princes. The reality is much worse.

They do not owe us anything, no more than an adopted child owes his adoptive parents. Most have lost half their families without being given time to mourn, children have been made orphans and adults are made single parents in a strange, cold country they do not even know the language in. You cannot imagine the horrors a lot of these people have witnessed and experienced, so who are you to tell them that they should be grateful?
