I'm actually reading about this now if anyone cares to read. Correct me if I'm wrong on anything I'm about to say.

As Germany was invading the Soviets in Leningrad and Stalingrad the Italians were invading El-Alamein, Egypt to seize the Suez Canal. However, the Italians were no match for the British Royal Airforce (RAF) and the Free French Force (FFF) so, Mussolini requested backup from Germany. Germany wasn't doing so well in Soviet occupation mainly because of the harsh cold winters, which was huge advantage to the Russians. And so when Mussolini requested backup, Hitler had to send his only remaining resources to Egypt so that Italy wouldn't be forced to surrender. As a result, Hitler lost the Battle of Stalingrad and the Russians pushed the Germans all the way back to Berlin, and the RAF and FFF pushed the Italian forces out of Egypt. This marked the first Allied victory and was a huge turning point causing the Axis powers to lose.

tl,dr; Mussolini pulled Germany into a battle they were destined to lose causing them both to lose tons of resources which restricted their ability to expand their regime.

Without Italy, Hitler would have conquered the whole ******* world, and now we would have been ******* nazis, hebrews and africans would have been extinguished and maybe your ******* USA would have been destroyed by japaneses. Italy, without knowing it, saved our world from Hell. So maybe we have to thank italians' weakness in war, despite laugh about it.

Actually, Italy took over all of Africa and the middle east. It's just that when Hitler killed himself, Mussolini knew where he was needed. So he faked his own death, ended the war in Europe, and went to go consolidate Hitler's family. I'll be back!

As with most of these Polandball comics, I'm struggling to find a reason to laugh. Where's the joke? Ok, so history has tells us that Italy went to war with Japan following Italy's surrender to allied forces. Is that supposed to be laugh out loud funny? What the **** do people see in these terrible comics?
