I've always found the Chinese and Japanese seem to find themselves as nations incapable of wrongdoing. I mean **** there isn't so much guilt built into the system as there is here, I hate to say it but most of central Asian culture as a whole is built into a very self-centered ideology. I mean **** , I know Japanese and Chinese guys who've gone back home and agreed that both countries are full of xenophobic asshats. Things need to change for the east on a cultural scale, and the whole world needs to be reminded every once in a while that we bear the sins of our forefathers on our backs like the greatest of turtle shells. Then maybe we'd be less inclined to do **** , no matter your ethnic, religious, national or cultural identity.

I had a professor that spent time in China and he would discuss with older Chinese people how they felt about Japan today. He said a lot of them said things like, "Why didn't you Americans finish the job and nuke the rest of Japan?!" The Chinese still hold a strong grudge against Japan.

I know OP already did say that the Japanese did say sorry for the rape of nanking(just putting it in the comments in case you didn't read it) but I'm glad Japan isn't forced to be submissive to China in the same way Germany is to Isreal.

wow, that is probably the most colossal ******** i have ever read. The time between 1918-1919 in germany is known as "Novemberrevolution", a politically driven revolution inspired by communist ideas (which is not a bad thing) and the insistence of the german supreme command to have a naval battle with the royal navy, despite the war being pretty much a lost cause, due to the fact that the shiny new german navy did not see any action during the war. That uprising led to the replacement of the imperial government with the weimarer republik. Jews are not even remotely related to that conflict, so i don't even know what that idiot is talking about, or is that a regular occurrence on /pol/?

I think Germany should seriously stop feeling the need to be so sorry about what happened.

Okay I can understand when people accidentally write "Could of" or something like that, but seriously? "We of never killed Chinese"?
User avatar #157 to #155 - duvallwhitey (01/27/2014) [-]
I know that but wouldn't Japanese have more of a "What? We no kirr any Chinese" accent instead of adding an "of" everywhere?

Why would million of innocent civilians deserve death? The only one who deserves death is you, to be sodomized by a mammoth tusk and then hung repeatedly by a barbed wire noose.

out of curiosity, with countries that are in land and have no coastline, where do they keep their navy's? like do they share a port with another country or are they always just floating around?
