I lived there for a couple years. It's pretty much Australia on easy mode. In the rural areas you have to deal with spiders and dinosaurs and in urban areas you have crack heads and old people.
Very true... That was crazy. A walkway in my university was shutdown because the area was flooded and a alligator was spotted. (He wasn't that big yet, but still)
Huh. Might have to look into working some events then.
Half my family lives in the UP. My grandpa used to run a resort up there. Used to go up there every summer. If you get the chance, you should go. It's definitely nice.
Na, but in the same respect that nature down here is crazy and wants to kill you. Between black widows brown recluses alligators and a cacophony of venomous snakes.
I dont know how Straya fairs with STDs and the what not.
The state of florida has asked us to disclose our sexual crimes to you
We were bad but now we're good
something something
WE'RE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO DO THE SEX OFFENDER SHUFFLE
Yeah. I hail from the glorius region of Osceola County. A wonderful place where meth is made, education is tossed aside, and everyone thinks they're tycoons because their grandpappy owned land before anyone came here.
The 2000 elections when Al Gore ran against George W. Bush for presidency. It was a very close popular vote, and Florida was one of the last states to vote. Many people thought that Al Gore would win, however, there was a discrepancy in the votes and a recount was done. After the recount, Bush turned out to be the winner.
Many people believe that Bush's camp did something to fiddle with the numbers. Conspiracy theorists, as well as many other people, like to say that Al Gore was supposed to win and that Bush cheated. In elections, this is not something that is supposed to happen, so legislation was put in place to make sure something like this never happens again.
I would like to add in some info from a security perspective.
It has been shown, several times, that the voting machines used were extremely easy to hack and by no means secure. It is almost guaranteed that to some degree that election was "corrupted".
I'd love if Scotland had got indpendence, just to see it collapse with the oil prices, which most of the SNPs economic policy seems to have been based on...
**lordharkus used "*roll picture*"** **lordharkus rolled image**Theres a story behind the thistle some english cunt was sneaking into the army's camp bare foot and stepped on that **** . may not be true
u ****** wot m8, you do know the SNP were desperate to fill Scotland with as many *********** as they could. They would have done to Glasgow what the labour and the conservatives have done to London.
Man I really ******* wish that Scotland had become independent and remained a Monarchy so I could become Royalty. We be sweet!. Mind you they would have to accept a German Roman Catholic King.
It's not like our independence plan was based ENTIRELY on oil, it admittedly used it as one of the main incentives of a yes vote but the idea was to invest revenues in a permanent reserve fund and use the interest to fund public services, pensions and other expenditure for years to come. Also the main goal of independence was to separate ourselves from the westminster government and a political system which was incredibly unfair, which hopefully would result in a far more equal and democratic Scotland which would have full control over it's own country.
>TFW I spent most of the campaign explaining to people that oil was not going to be the driving force of our economy and yet everyone still goes on about oil like a PTSD-stricken Iraqi soldier.
I get it if y'all want to criticise our plans for muh renewabales but come on, Scotland does have some other things.
No reason we couldn't, but political correctness and the global community at large is all poised to get outraged about civilian casualties. I say the US withdraws from every hostile country, fortifies our positions with nearby allies, and tells the mid east to step up to control their own. Preemptive strikes only cause anger and furthers the extremist cause. Let em boil for a while, it is something like 110 degrees there this time of year. If they strike against us, then retaliation should be swift, brutal, and total.
correct me if i'm wrong but i heard that the us are still attacking the syrian militiary who are aiming at ISIS... when they should be aiming for ISIS.
Who the **** knows. The ROE's are handicapping the soldiers in the area and the military unintelligence coming from washington is primarily old data and a guessing game. It is pretty much keeping up a pretense of being involved while everyone in charge has lost interest.
Tit for tat. You could easily say that the allies 'created' Nazi Germany because they set up the economical and political situation that allowed Hitler to rise to power. We've done the same thing in the middle east.
Precisely. I'm on the side of saying, we didn't create nazis or isis. But we certainly dumped plenty of arms for them to steal from the incompetent iraqi army.
