If you got to Mewtwo, shouldn't you know Ekans isn't rare

I'm flawless

I'd rather have a shiny ekans (and eventual bad ass shiny Arboc) than a mewtwo. I mean, I've never seen a shiny in my entire life of playing pokemon. That's over ten years of playing without seeing a singly shiny in person.

I'd just transfer the shiny over to a different game, restart, and re-capture mewtwo.

I caught a shiny ghastly, evolved it, and traded it to my friend and back to me to get a shiny Gengar. It was pretty sweet
