i think that after gen. 3 they started making pointless legendary Pokemon, for example. the first one was 'the rulers of the sky' and 'the original pokemon' and its clone. the second one had 'the rulers of the earth' and then the overall 'lord of the sky and sea' and 'time' then most of Gen 3 made sense. you have the ones that helped shape the earth through their war then the one that broke up the fight. An alien and one that let you have a wish whenever you wanted. the others in that generation however, i felt were needless and stupid.

I don't think the 4th Gen legendaries are that pointless. They deal with the creation of the universe, which really hadn't been covered. The 5th Gen. main legendaries on the other hand make a lot less sense to me since they were created to end a war and ended up destroying the region and disappearing. There are some pretty pointless legendaries all across the board really (4th Gen. being the biggest offender).

I can't say they make pointless legendaries, cause all legendaries have their own story. but i think they maxed out creationism with palkia, dialga and arceus. palkia creating space, dialga time and arceus creating dialga and palkia but also the universe.

That's the only thing I didn't like in Gen IV. Arceus. I mean... That's the fucking God of Pokemon. That's the one who created all that shit. How can you create more legendaries after that?

well arceus obviously created mew and mew gave the world pokemon. he gave each region its own legendaries which shaped the region and the world. he probably made groudon, kyogre and rayquaza first.

You mean Mew made Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza first or Arceus did? Because I'm pretty sure Arceus created Palkia and Dialga first, considering they are in control of space and time.

The Regis def obtained their lengendary statuses. Not only were they hard to catch and hard to beat, but they were also a bitch to find. But Pokemon has done absolutely no effort to explain what makes them so legendary. It's not that they aren't, but just no one knows what the hell they actually are.
