Ha, ******* casuals.
I had pokemon gold, and there was this glitch you could use to copy your pokemon.
(sending it to your PC, and turn off power while saving or something)
Equip pokemon with masterball -> infinite masterballs.
also works with rare candy, etc.

That was pretty close. You put a pokemon in one of your pc boxes with an item, then switch pc boxes to an empty one. Then when it saves you turn off the power and you'll have cloned pokemon in the new pc

pokemon silver was my favourite in the series. Cloned my tyrogue to make the ultimate fighting team...

There was a similar glitch in emerald, but if you had a regular DS that could play both GB: advance games and DS games, then you could take games from your emerald, ruby, and saphire and put them one your pearl game and so i cloned my pokemon and masterballs in emerald and then transferred them over.

I did the same, had a bunch of mewtwos, legendary birds, and 3rd generation legendaries cloned and transferred to my pearl (with rare candies and master balls and whatnot).
It only worked in the computer of the "Battle Tower" (I think) You just saved the game, moved one Pokémon to a different position (be it in your PC, or from your party to your PC) and save it again, wait about 3 seconds and turn it off.
When you start it back on, you'll fined the Pokémon in both places with their respective items doubled.
