What about those pokeballs you could buy with a gold card in them? Or how your parents would pronounce it pokeman. If fucking po-ke-mon mom! (actual first time I cussed at my mother) Or being stuck at a certain part and your friend picking it up and getting you past it leaving you with much to learn.

I had a pikachu, then someone stole it. They confessed to me years later while we were smoking a joint, that bastard practically forced me to forgive him. Were still best mates though.
