"A male masturbating game. Contestants all jack off onto a digestive biscuit.whoever shoots his load first onto the biscuit is deemed the winner! The loser.... eats the biscuit"
Well to be fair, water is ******* annoying: the pokemon you encounter are a lot less diverse than on land, water trainers and their 5 magicarps who give you like 3xp per fish are annoying, you cant ride your bike, no place to walk if you dont want wild pokemon to leave you alone for a sec.
Surfing is at the same speed as the acro bike. After using the black flute, the encounter rate drops to a perfectly reasonable level, and trainers with teams of worthless, weak pokemon are no more common than they are on the mainland. Plus, each route has various islands with trainers who use non-water type pokemon. I think this hate against the sea is more due to people's perceptions than their experiences.
Well i dunno about arco bikes black fluites and all that **** .
I only had pokemon blue. Suring was the same speed as walking, every pokemon you encountered was a tentacool, trainers used magicarp and tentacool.
And beause it was all open water that looked the same you didnt really have a refferential point so you got lost a lot easier than on land
I don't know how common knowledge of the black flute was. I remember me and all my classmates getting it, back in 6th grade when the games were new, but it's possible that it was a detail that was often missed if you didn't have a friend to tell you about it. Your last point is granted, but I really appreciated that aspect. While you could avoid getting lost by following the side boundaries, I liked that it was an ocean that you could be completely isolated from any landmarks for entire screens at a time, reminiscent of the real ocean. It added to the theme.
this gif reminds me back of when you saw someone rotating and thought back to yourself "oh thank god, they're moving so they don't want to battle." then when you hit that one ****** that was rotating and still wanted to battle you almost felt betrayed.
I'm really annoyed they got rid of character customization. I really liked battling online and most everyone looked unique. Now we're back to cookie cutter trainers.
Was that announced for this game anyways? If not, then it was probably kept out because it's a remake and not a new game on its own. People would complain if the main characters didn't look similar to how they did before.
They announced that they only put it in X and Y because it was France and they wanted everything to be fabulous or some **** . I don't know. But yeah, they said specifically before putting this out that customization is gone. High hopes for the next game, people.
well because we're using the hoenn trainer again. in future games where its not a remake, character customization is probably there + im sure you can customize how you appear to online players
You can still create your own Secret Bases that (I think) have battle rules that you create
all that X and Y gave you anyways was a choice of Indian, white or albino 100 lbs. 14 year-old with a ********* anime face and hair
Who the hell cares about the trainer, express yourself with your team instead
