Autumnal season? How would that be squirtle's weakness if autumn is the start of nature slowly dying wouldn't spring have been a better choice? In fact why not just show squirtle getting his moisture sucked up by a plant! .... tsk tsk sloppy work OP

Should've been spring.

There's less active plants starting at the autumn season and throughout winter.

the joke is that the leaves are falling, for about the span of a month or two, ergo, high risk of being hit by it.

The Autumnal season? You mean September 22 to the 23rd?

I've always thought of it as plant types leeching/draining all the water out of water Pokemon, until they are nothing more than a shriveled corpse. It makes more sense that way.

You know what's fucking horrific? The thought of what those corpses would look like, especially Squirtle. Bulbasaur would be all burnt, a lot of it would be ashes, the Charmander would be just wet and smokey and the squirtle would have all the moisture sucked out of its body, making it look like a really old corpse
